St Luke's Episcopal Church
Welcomes You!

Preserving Our Past, Protecting
Our Future
We are an Anglo-Catholic parish which stands for
historic Christianity in the Anglican tradition. We are a part of the Continuing Church movement in the United States, and are a member of the Anglican Diocese of Arizona. Our Bishop and Rector is the Right Reverend David McMannes.
Saint Luke's Parish was founded in 1987 by Father McMannes
and a determined group of dedicated Episcopalians, and is located
in the Chapel area of Sedona on Highway 179 and Meadowlark Drive.
We use the 1928 Book
of Common Prayer as the basis for our worship and,
quoting the Affirmation
of Saint Louis, "In the firm conviction that
"we shall be saved through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ,"
and ... we declare our intention to hold fast the One, Holy,
Catholic and Apostolic Faith of God."
Ours is a unique ministry, being both in a town that is visited
by more than four million visitors each
year and the creators of episcopalnet.org - an internet
domain for the propagation of historic Christianity in the Anglican
tradition, so that, as the episcopalnet.org home page states so forthrightly,
God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ (1
Peter 4)
When you are in our area, come worship with us, and we also ask your prayers for our mission and ministry. And, however you choose
to support us, we thank you ahead of time! And remember: Do all
for God's greater glory in Christ Jesus our Lord!
Specifically, here are the directions to the Church, which is located in the Chapel area of Sedona on Highway 179, between Back 'O Beyond and Chapel Roads:
From the Intersection of Hwy 89A & Hwy 179:
South on Hwy 179 for 3 miles - Church is on the right.
From Interstate 17 Sedona Offramp (Hwy 179):
11. 7 miles - Church is on the left.
